Saurabh Khurana - Founder & Executive Producer
Saurabh Khurana brings over a decade of hands-on experience across feature films, OTT originals, TV commercials, documentaries, digital content and large-scale brand productions. He has worked on some of Bollywood’s notable films, including Ishaqzaade, Mere Dad Ki Maruti, and Dhoom 3, demonstrating his ability to manage complex productions with precision and creative sensitivity. The production line led by him has also delivered two studio-backed films — Khandani Shafakhana and Fukrey 3 — strengthening his reputation as a dependable producer capable of handling projects at scale.
Recently, he worked as part of the production team on Sarzameen, a film by Dharma Productions, and served as the Executive Producer on Gandhari, a Netflix project — expanding his portfolio into the realm of premium OTT storytelling. His journey also includes working closely with some of India’s most respected advertising agencies such as McCann Erickson, Grey Worldwide, Cheil, Ogilvy & Mather, Leo Burnett, Lowe Lintas, Dentsu Webchutney, Wieden+Kennedy, among others.
Having worked across practically all video formats — feature films, series, branded content, corporate films, documentaries, performance ads, testimonials, travel films, photo shoots, and high-end product videos — he brings an unusually well-rounded perspective to every project. His on-ground experience in India and overseas gives him an intuitive understanding of what international teams require when filming in India, from workflow discipline to communication, safety, cultural sensitivity, global standards and production efficiency.
Saurabh’s leadership style is defined by calm decision-making, logistical clarity, strong people skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while maintaining budget efficiency and reliable timelines. His vision for the company is simple: to tell honest stories, deliver world-class production value, and keep evolving — just like the name “Work in Progress” suggests.
